Views from Linville Gorge

Truly Breathtaking! The Linville Gorge Wilderness is located in western North Carolina, and is only one of two gorges in the southern United States. The gorge is especially beautiful during fall, as stripes of colorful leaves cover the gorge in yellow, red, orange, and green. The Linville Gorge Wilderness is a great place to camp, hike, and backpack. There are several hikes down the gorge to the river, they are fairly challenging but well worth it. Make sure to checkout the Linville Gorge if you are ever in western North Carolina.
